Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her first professional appearance was in support roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt the actress played Willa McPherson in the role of a reporter. She also appeared in as a support character on the short-lived series The Ex List. In the premiere season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara as a young Moira as well as in the season 2 she was Kaylee. She played Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices of various characters in the comedy show Family Guy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. They were able to move around for a year before eventually moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she began taking an interest in acting, photography and singing. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue a career in acting.
